We deliver programs that are user-friendly and culturally sensitive.
Social Health Programs
Mawarnkarra runs a number of social health programs and services. We offer the following health programs to our clients:
- Tackling Indigenous Smoking program;
- Women’s Safe House;
- Alcohol & Nutrition program;
- Social and Emotional Wellbeing program; and
- Environmental Health program;
Mawarnkarra operates a referral service between the Clinic and Programs.

The areas we cover in the Pilbara towns and communities include:
TOWNS:
Roebourne, Wickham, Point Samson, Karratha, Dampier
COMMUNITIES:
Cheeditha, Mingullatharndo (5 Mile), Ngurrawaana, Bindi Bindi
Mawarnkarra aims to address the physical, social, emotional, and cultural wellbeing of the community. We listen and offer counselling, to suit the specific needs of our clients; and we deliver programs that are user-friendly and culturally sensitive. All Mawarnkarra staff undertake local Cultural Awareness Training and participate in other cultural awareness activities.

We are open on Monday: 8:30am -1:00pm (we are closed from 1pm for in house training and staff meetings);
Tuesday-Friday: 8:30am – 4:45pm
We are closed on weekends and public holidays.
